Gobustan National Park is a hilly and mountainous site. This site overlooks the Jarankichmaz River between the Persagat River and the Sumgayit River. The Gobustan National Park is 60 km away from Baku and the Caspian Sea. In this park there are drawings on the rocks, which date back to the Ice Age. UNESCO classified it as a world heritage site in 2007 AD, and this park includes a lot of the art of rock inscriptions dating back to the prehistoric era, and the visitor will also see in this park multiple ways and methods of hunting ancient animals with forms of animals and forms of plants that are found in this park, which is as a historical period.

This park is considered one of the best tourist places in which the visitor can observe the mud volcanoes that are related to the geological formation of Azerbaijan. There are approximately 350 mud volcanoes out of 800 located around the world.
